If Surftech designer Eric Roush's Mega Loaf Skimboard sounds like it might resemble a hearty portion of your mama's meatloaf, it does ... sort of. Meaty? Yes. Heavy and non-buoyant? No. In fact, the added thickness and width of the Mega Loaf means bigger skimmers get a sandwich construction board to attack waves further out with more speed. A low rocker at the nose and the added fin boxes let you go with a quad or twin set-up for more surf-like ventures away from the sand.
